Thank's Steve. You do realy great work! Way to go! And it's so nice to know that there are such good people in the world. I just think...why people, who don't live in this country, who even don't know these children and haven't ever seen them, do for charity more, then some ukrainians... Вот ведь, шотландцы, которым казалось бы дела нет до наших сирот, такие дела делают. А наши блин "народні обранці", которые "за народ, за Україну" греют свои ж***в тепле... Я не думаю, что у них меньше денег, чем у некоторых из DniproKids... The fans that travelled to Dnipropetrovsk were made so welcome by people of Dnipropetrovsk it is their way of say thank you for such friendship. Those that didn't travel have been touched by the photos and the stories from Dnipro Kids and feel a part of what is being done. The Aberdeen supporters have already donated 15,000grievna and many of them will be bringing items over for kids and babies. They will be taking items out to Predniprovsk for children on Wednesday. Please make them as welcome as you did the Hibernian supporters. ;)

Steve, can you tell me more about this programm, about what you do. Leading up to the Hibernian trip 2 years ago myself and a few fans got together to try and organise taking a few football tops out to local kids. It grew and grew with lots of donations from Hibernian supporters and lots of kids and baby things donated. We heard about a group in Dnipropetrovsk that helped at the Predniprovsk TB sanatorium so we asked them what the sanatorium needed. By the time we travelled to Dnipropetrovsk we had around 40,000grievna donated in money and about 20 cases of donated items including clothes, football shirts, training shoes, boots, scarves, hats, toys and sweets. The money was used to buy many items that the sanatorium needed including TV, DVD, chairs, table-tennis table, etc. etc. After the visit we thought that would be the end but many many Hibernian fans wanted to carry on helping so we started Dnipro Kids. We have collections at football matches and we also do fund raising through the year. We now also help out at the Odinkovka orphanage and also at a Crisis Pregnancy Centre in Dnipropetrovsk that helps young mothers and their babies. We have sponsors that pay each month to help the kids at Odinkovka, we do collections to help Predniprovsk and buy baby food and other items for Crisis Pregnanacy Centre, we also get baby items donated which we bring over 2 times each year. Steve, Naomy asked have you gotten a plate with petrikovskaya painting from Andron? Yes, and the two cups as well. To Steven: well, Naomy just said she knows that one of Hibs supporters who helps our children is named Steve...so she asked maybe it was you? i think she realy was talking about you. we realy thanksful to you for what you do...and welcome to Ukraine!!! Yes, I am "Стив". ;) No need to thank me though because I really enjoy my visits to Ukraine and when I am there EVERYONE makes me feel very welcome. Dnipropetrovsk is almost like my second home. ;) The only thing that makes me sad is when I visit in January FC Dnipro do not play any games. :(

oh...Steven, write in english, please, 'cause it's hard to understend what you said :-/ Okay. I said that items for orphans are being bought this Friday and also Monday so that they are ready for arrival of Aberdeen fans. It is Hibs fans that have been buying things for the last 2 years but for this trip it is Aberdeen supporters that have collected money. Hibs supporters will continue to help out the kids in Dnipropetrovsk for years to come and I am hoping that maybe Aberdeen fans will do this also. I was unsure what Naomy meant by my relationship with Aberdeen. I am a Hibs supporter. I am also chairman/president of DniproKids. It is through me that the Aberdeen supporters are organising their help as I have been to Dnipropetrovsk 5 times and know a lot about what needs to be done. И какое отношение к ним имеет Steven Carr?
